After helping friends and fellow farmers with their Chanterelle harvest not only were we rewarded with some beautiful mushrooms for eating, but 3 1/2 pounds of chanterelle mycelium to introduce to the soil surrounding our oak, birch and beech trees.  After checking the PH level of the soil and finding what we believe are the perfect growing spots, we loosened the soil, scattered the mycelium and covered them with the lush leaf loam.  Timing our 'planting' perfectly before the wonderful rain came. 

Now we wait.....
